Arondite connects and manages autonomous systems from different manufacturers through Cobalt, an AI software platform. It is hardware-agnostic and acts as a unifying data engine that fuses inputs from drones, robots, and sensors to give operators real-time analytics in a single cockpit. Unlike rivals who build new hardware or lock customers to one ecosystem, Arondite emphasizes interoperability and human–machine teaming across defense, critical infrastructure, and security. Its goal is to improve decision-making, efficiency, and safety by enabling seamless interoperability of autonomous systems.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Arondite raised $12M in May 2025, led by Index Ventures.
  • The 2026 UK MoD contract validates Cobalt for frontline deployment.
  • Hiring and headcount growth signal execution momentum toward 100 employees by end-2026.

What critics are saying

  • 2026 MoD dependence concentrates revenue risk inside one procurement cycle.
  • Palantir, Helsing, and Babcock all crowd the same autonomy orchestration layer.
  • Without interoperable customer integrations, Cobalt becomes a demo, not infrastructure.

What makes Arondite unique

  • Cobalt unifies drones, robots, and sensors through one operator interface.
  • Will Blyth and Rob Underhill pair frontline Army and BAE engineering experience.
  • Babcock's 2025 ARMOR work embeds Arondite into maritime autonomy orchestration.
