Youth Soccer Coach
About the job
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and be willing to travel to locations in Cumming, Suwanee, Canton, Gainesville, Woodstock, and Lawrenceville.
- Ideally be based within 30 minutes of one or more service areas.
- Must be willing to undergo fingerprinting and pass a Georgia comprehensive background check.
- Must have access to a mobile device for scheduling and class management.
- Must be available weekday afternoons, ideally between 2:30 PM and 6:30 PM.
- Must be available to start immediately and attend a few hours of training each week.
- Conduct soccer classes that cater to various skill levels and promote an enjoyable learning experience.
- Teach fundamental soccer skills while emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal development.
- Provide positive reinforcement to encourage player growth and confidence.
- Communicate effectively with players and parents regarding progress and development.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and fun environment for all participants.
- Use individual attention to ensure every child experiences success.
- Create a stress-free environment through a non-competitive, fun approach.
- Attend training and follow the Amazing Athletes Coaching Manual and Curriculum.
- Experience working with children and/or a background in sports, especially soccer.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with kids effectively.
- A positive, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude toward coaching.
- Passion for working with children and inspiring young athletes.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and follow program guidelines.
- Desire to grow with the expanding team and make a long-term impact.
