Your work will span across system architecture, hardware, firmware, kernel drivers, and global system behavior, striving to satisfy both world class system performance and power delivery constraints at the same time.

Minimum Qualifications

Excellent programming skills with knowledge of C/C++
Strong understanding of operating systems, hardware, and embedded systems.
Collaborates well with cross functional engineering teams
Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

B.S., M.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
Experience with firmware development in embedded systems

Description

We are looking for an extraordinary firmware engineer to lead, design and implement wireless charging firmware features in Apple products. You will work with Hardware, Systems and other cross-functional teams and lead the bring-up and development of charging features from pre-silicon to commercialization. The position requires high level thinking to architect code solutions along with low level programming and excellent communications and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment. By working on this technology, you will have the opportunity to have a major impact on the implementation and quality of Apple’s next generation products.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $115,700 and $204,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
