New stuff alert: the beauty Advent calendars are already here. Sept. 2, 2026 For this week's Don't Dillydally, Tafts has rounded up a range of newly released products Tafts is particularly excited about, including WNBA gold charms, Dyson's high-tech toothbrush, and an upgraded Dame vibrator. Strategist senior writer Ambar Pardilla alerted its Slack this morning: "The beauty Advent calendar of beauty Advent calendars from Liberty is officially live." Twenty-one of the 29 items are full size, and the entire calendar is allegedly worth $1,700 (the highest value ever). It's sold out 11 years running, so buy it now and your future self will thank you come December. Track-pant summer continues into fall with this addition to the canon from Imogene + Willie. Made from a four-ounce 100 percent Japanese cupro cotton in a slightly more dressy gold color, it feels much nicer than the polyester ones every other brand is making right now. The Hulken Tafts all know and love in two limited-edition colors - light pink and beige - courtesy of a collab with Stoney Clover Lane. The WNBA has enlisted Catbird on a new demi-fine charm collection, which includes a jumpwoman, a basketball, and the WNBA logo; plus the brand's signature city letter charm featuring the team tricodes of eight different cities. The collection is only available in sterling silver and ten-karat gold, which keeps things affordable. An ideal collab for back-to-school season: a Jibbitz-covered case for your kid's Touchland hand sanitizer. Dame has upgraded its Wand vibrator with a more powerful, even quieter motor so you get extra sensations without any extra noise. It also has a newer, longer-lasting battery and a more convenient USB-C charger, so you don't need to fiddle around with the old magnetic one. Sabah has released a limited-edition woven style of its best-selling Bolo slip-on. The leather is first woven in Chennai, India, before making it's way to an El Paso studio to be turned into a loafer. The loafers feel Bottega-esque for a fraction of the cost. Another day, another Baggu collaboration. This time, the MoMA has painted its bags with the works of Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, Piet Mondrian, Alma Woodsey Thomas, and, my personal favorite of the collection, Ruth Asawa. Is this the Airwrap of toothbrushes? Dyson's new CameraJet is an electric toothbrush that basically has a built-in water flosser that uses an AI-powered camera to target plague. Like many of Dyson's gadgets, it features an accompanying app and costs a pretty penny. But you can't put a price on good oral hygiene. JBL, which makes many of its favorite portable speakers, has now entered into the whole-home speaker category with the launch of its Cove collection. It includes three new speakers, the M1, P1, and X1, which can be used individually or in concert. A dream collaboration for a certain kind of guy, Casio's Cafe Kitsune watch has a matcha-green dial. It retails for $120, and while preorders have closed, it launches tomorrow for regular purchase. Diptyque's new body-care collection is chock full of nourishing balms, body oils, and scrubs as well as accompanying beauty tools like a dry brush, body gua sha, and sea sponge. EVEREVE has a line of sneakers out with British sneaker brand Gola. The colorways feel retroish - I'm particularly fond of the tan suede pair - and would make a nice addition to a fall wardrobe. The Strategist is designed to surface useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Every product is independently selected by its team of editors, whom you can read about here. Tafts update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
Every piece from Catbird's debut men's jewelry capsule collection. Daily Front Row, Inc. want all of it! Catbird Well Worn After 22 years in the biz, Brooklyn-based fine and demi-fine jewelry brand Catbird today launched Well Worn, their first ever dedicated menswear capsule collection. And it is as covetable as it is affordable, which is to say very. Almost shockingly so. While Catbird's jewelry has long been designed to be worn across genders, the new capsule marks their formal entry into the men's category, translating their signature approach to modern heirlooms into five easy pieces made for everyday wear and crafted in 100% recycled sterling silver and solid 10k gold. Catbird describes it as "an old symbol, made new" and "a talisman for carrying what matters," but Daily Front Row, Inc. just think it is totally cute. Especially the small version, which comes in 10k gold and is discreet and lightweight enough that even guys who rarely wear jewelry are likely to put it on and never take it off. The small gold version is $298 while the larger silver version is $98. Plus $10 for engraving. You can also get a 15% off a chain when you buy the shield online, which, with gold and silver prices where they are these days, is a deal worth taking advantage of. A classic watch band, given new form as a ring. It's bold and modern and looks great worn on its own or in a stack. Made of silver, it is $88 for the 5mm and $128 for the 10mm. A bolder take on Catbird's classic ID bracelet, the Century comes with a substantial curb chain designed to move with you and is available in a matte or shiny finish for $228. Plus $14 for engraving. A reworking of Catbird's popular ID ring with a substantial curb chain backing, made to stand on its own. It can also be worn with the engraving tucked inward, like a little secret. Available in matte or shiny silver, engraving is free. This timeless signet style features a classic face with relaxed corners that taper into a rounded band. $ for sterling silver, $188 for sterling silver grand (which is to say the larger silver version), and $698 for its favorite, yellow gold. Engraving is free. The collection is available now at CatbirdNYC.com and in Catbird stores nationwide.
Jewelry brand Catbird to land in Dallas later this year. 2026-08-04 Catbird, a Brooklyn-born jewelry brand, will make its Texas debut with a new store in Dallas' Knox-Henderson neighborhood this November. This new location will join the brand's select group of stores in cities including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco. The move reflects Catbird's strategy to reach new markets as Dallas continues to attract notable fashion brands.
