  • Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months of related experience and/or training.
Responsibilities
  • Perform manual yard tasks in support of branch operations, including general yard maintenance and logistics and support for the Rental, Parts, and Service Departments as needed.
  • Provide customer service and prioritize safety.
  • Maintain good order and cleanliness in the yard.
  • Assist the Rental, Parts, and Service Departments when instructed.
  • Greet customers in the yard and direct them to the office or unloading areas.
  • Assist delivery drivers and customers with loading and unloading products and rental equipment.
  • Wash and perform light maintenance on equipment and rental equipment.
  • Inspect equipment before customer receipt, verifying inventory equipment number, fuel level, and rent-ready condition.
  • Verify fuel consumed and inspect equipment condition when it is returned.
  • Install service tags on equipment returned from rental.
  • Move rental-ready equipment to proper storage areas after routine service-shop maintenance.
  • Give customers start/stop and general operating instructions on rental equipment.
