- Coordinate the grant lifecycle process from application submission to final report evaluation for select grant portfolios
- Enter and maintain grants data in our Salesforce Grant Management Software and ensure proper grant closings and record completeness
- Maintain and organize grantmaking-related documents and records including but not limited to grant requests, financial documents, and grantee tax documents
- Assist applicants and grantees in navigating the portal and submitting grant applications and reports. Liaise with applicants and grantees to validate information and ensure completeness of proposals and reports
- Assist in the preparation and execution of grant agreements and other required documents
- In consultation with Foundation team, help build, manage, and evaluate grant portfolios (e.g., hunger relief, sustainability, workforce development)
- Research and understand the landscape of stakeholders and solicit proposals from potential grantees that fit into funding strategies
- Conduct research and due diligence on the financial and operational health of previous, current, and potential grantees
- Support the preparation of reports and analyses on grant portfolio spending, grantee performance metrics, and quality assurance of projects
- Help present applicant due diligence and grantee performance results to Foundation management to support decision-making
- Assist with documenting grantmaking policies and procedures, as well as designing and implementing process improvements as needed
- Assist with events, special projects, and site visits as needed
- Help prepare presentation materials for Leadership, schedule and attend meetings with grantees
