Requirements
  • Must have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five years.
  • Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • TS/SCI security clearance is required for the Insider Threat Analyst position.
  • The Insider Threat Analyst must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with two years of experience working in the Intelligence Community and U.S. Government Agencies within the national security community.
  • Travel: Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training requirements.
  • Work shall be conducted at or in proximity to the Washington DC Area.
  • All employees must be determined eligible for a “Facility Access Authorization” by the U.S. Government Security Office.
  • May be required to complete a Financial Disclosure Statement.
  • Must be able to submit to and qualify for varying levels of background investigations, up to a Top Secret or Department of Energy “Q” clearance.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe).
  • U.S. Citizenship required - You must be a United States Citizen.
  • Participation in the E-Verify program.

Responsibilities
  • The Insider Threat Analyst (ITA) reviews and analyzes data collected by internal sources, including data from computer networks audit tools.
  • The ITA identifies and assess potential threat information, recommend mitigation efforts, and incorporates findings into formal reports.
  • The ITA supports insider threat inquiries and prepares intelligence information reports.
  • The ITA preserves the chain of custody of evidence received while supporting insider threat inquiries, to include but not limited to IT audit data and findings, using proper physical, operational, and information security measures.
