- The worker must be physically capable of consistently lifting items up to 25 pounds and maintaining constant physical movement.
- The worker must be fluent in English, both orally and in writing.
- The worker must be willing and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Participate in cleaning soiled laundry, washing, drying, folding, and preparing laundry for delivery.
- Assist in maintaining equipment by following proper operating, cleaning, and maintenance instructions.
- Use procedures as trained in compliance with infection prevention and control, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System, and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Attend mandatory training and departmental meetings.
- A high school diploma is preferred.
- WHMIS training is an asset.
