Responsibilities
  • Work efficiently within Salesforce CRM, proactively updating customers and internal stakeholders, and create, manage, and close cases efficiently and effectively.
  • Process service orders and invoices accurately and in a timely manner in SAP.
  • Process credits, returns, repairs, and warranty replacement goods.
  • Generate quotes for work orders and service contracts, administer service contracts, and manage associated preventative maintenance actions.
  • Liaise with customers and regional managers.
  • Perform general administration duties.
  • Promote and deliver effective collaboration internally and with customers.
  • Investigate and action disputes, process credits, and collaborate with credit control teams to support cash collection.
  • Identify issues and collaborate with appropriate support teams to resolve root causes.
  • Support continuous improvement in team processes and address factors that adversely impact the customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with the complaints process so that both the customer and ZEISS response are managed effectively, escalating to the Customer Support Manager, Team Lead, or Service Manager as needed.
  • Manage the booking-in and booking-out process for customer components.

ZEISS unveils retinal imaging and surgical innovations at EURETINA 2026

ZEISS Medical Technology has announced expansions to its ZEISS Retina Workflow at the EURETINA 2026 congress in Vienna. The company introduced the ZEISS ALTA DUO 300, combining OCT and fundus imaging in a single device for streamlined retinal diagnostics. ZEISS also unveiled the HMDmd CR3, a head-mounted 3D display that connects with the ZEISS ARTEVO 850 surgical microscope. The company reported that its DORC ILM-BLUE and DORC MEMBRANEBLUE-DUAL vitreoretinal surgical dyes reached a 3 million milestone. ZEISS expands retinal imaging portfolio with new ALTA DUO 300 multimodal OCT device

ZEISS Medical Technology has expanded its retinal imaging portfolio with the launch of ZEISS ALTA DUO 300, a fully automated, compact multimodal imaging solution. The device combines optical coherence tomography (OCT) and fundus photography in a single unit, designed to provide efficient retinal assessment for eye care practices. The ALTA DUO 300 features four key diagnostic technologies: automated structural OCT with reference database and reporting, true colour fundus camera, AI-enhanced OCT-Angiography, and full chamber depth anterior OCT scanning. The device aims to integrate retinal imaging into everyday patient care through simplified workflows. The product will be showcased at the European Society of Retina Specialists congress in Vienna from 1-4 October and will be available in select markets later in 2026.

ZEISS launches DORC EVA NEXUS cataract system at ESCRS in London

ZEISS Medical Technology has launched a cataract-only configuration of its DORC EVA NEXUS ophthalmic surgical system. The system features a cataract grade selection with up to four programmable presets, allowing surgeons to optimise phaco, aspiration, and irrigation settings for each surgical step. The solution includes VacuFlow VTi pump, SMART IOP, and EVA EQUIPHACO technologies, designed to provide streamlined performance, stability, and control during procedures. It integrates with the ZEISS Cataract Workflow portfolio. The system debuted at the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons congress in London. It will become available in select European countries from September 2026, with global rollout pending regulatory approvals. The funding will accelerate commercialisation of SeeTrue's ultra-low-power eye-sensing architecture for next-generation interfaces in smart optical systems and eyewear. SeeTrue's proprietary technology combines miniaturised sensing hardware with optimised embedded processing, enabling scalable eye-sensing capabilities with low power consumption and small hardware footprint. The technology supports gaze-based interaction and attention-aware computing across healthcare, industrial, and smart eyewear applications. The investment round includes participation from Superhero Capital and North Karelia Growth Fund, managed by Redstone Nordics. Founded in 2018 and based in Joensuu, Finland, SeeTrue develops ultra-miniature eye-tracking technology for medical optical systems, vision care, and smart wearables.
