Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program is preferred, or a minimum of 3–5 years of clinical experience is required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and prior experience working in a medical office are preferred.
  • Ability to perform the stated physical and sensory requirements, including lifting, carrying, pushing, transporting patients, and prolonged standing and walking.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for day-to-day urgent care clinic operations and troubleshoot patient, staff, and company problems in a timely manner.
  • Act as the liaison between clinic staff and the Practice Administrator.
  • Maintain staff schedules and resolve scheduling difficulties or special requests.
  • Manage and maintain patient flow throughout the urgent care clinic experience.
  • Assist with training new staff and provide coverage as needed within the clinic.
  • Travel throughout the Network and to contracted employers for on-site services.
  • Perform daily clinical functions and workflow, including system registration, Epic registration, pre-employment physicals, fit-for-duty services, and other testing related to Care Now and Occupational Medicine Services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
