Requirements
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment (ESD controlled and ISO or other quality management system preferred)
  • Experience using CMM and other high precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gage, profilometer etc). CMM programming and MCOSMOS experience a plus.
  • Experience reading engineering drawings and working knowledge of GD&T
  • Current/previous IPC 610 and 620 certification a plus
  • Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Must work well in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize work according to business needs
Responsibilities
  • Lead in running the Inspection Lab, keeping it organized and follow/maintain/improve lab processes
  • Inspect incoming parts and materials using precision measuring equipment and techniques
  • Compare inspection results against engineering drawings and other product documentation
  • Create inspection reports and communicate findings to Quality Engineering and Production
  • Identify and track trends in inspection results
  • Assist with managing product in MRB hold area and lead/participate in weekly MRB meetings
  • Work closely with Production and Engineering departments on non-conforming product
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary by Quality Manager
