Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Three to five years of experience operating and maintaining equipment in a manufacturing industrial setting is required.
- Computer operations skills with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products are required.
- Proficiency or familiarity with a computerized maintenance management system, specifically Oracle, is required.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and industrial equipment is required.
- Knowledge of safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout, is required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and systems by planning and prioritizing work orders based on safety, production needs, and equipment criticality.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance with maintenance technicians, production supervisors, and other departments to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain accurate equipment history, maintenance logs, and work orders using Oracle Computerized Maintenance Management System.
- Estimate labor, materials, and costs for maintenance work and ensure timely procurement of parts and supplies.
- Develop kits for preventive maintenance and work orders, and prestage kits for execution.
- Prepare maintenance reports and key performance indicators, and participate in root cause analysis investigations.
- Assist the Maintenance Manager in budgeting for maintenance expenses and capital improvement projects.
- Analyze equipment failures and maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement and reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety and environmental regulations.
