About the job

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer in Test, SDET, or Software Engineer with a strong test or automation focus; experience as a QA Analyst or manual tester who has only picked up automation tools is not sufficient.
  • Strong general software engineering ability, including the ability to read, write, and reason about production-quality code rather than only test scripts.
  • A proven track record designing and building test automation frameworks and infrastructure from scratch, using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or Playwright, or similar tools.
  • Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript applied to real software engineering problems.
  • Deep understanding of unit testing principles, with hands-on experience writing, maintaining, and reviewing unit tests as an embedded part of a development team.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines as code, including environment and infrastructure concerns, using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
  • Solid grounding in Agile/Scrum ways of working.
  • Ability to complete a live coding and system design interview.
  • Demonstrated fluency with Claude and other AI tools as a productive part of a daily engineering workflow; this will be verified through practical assessment at interview.
Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and own the test automation frameworks, tooling, and CI/CD test infrastructure used across engineering teams.
  • Define testing standards and patterns for unit, integration, functional, performance, and security testing that development teams apply and maintain themselves, rather than reviewing tests individually.
  • Coach and upskill engineers on testing practices, framework adoption, and quality standards to raise the organization's baseline.
  • Measure adoption of tools and practices, identify where teams are struggling, and improve the platform or coaching to address gaps.
  • Use Claude and other AI tools to accelerate framework development, tooling, and the creation of coaching and enablement materials.
  • Partner with development and DevOps teams to keep test infrastructure integrated into the evolving CI/CD pipeline.
  • Analyze quality and testing-practice data across teams to identify systemic issues and prioritize high-leverage tooling or practice investments.
  • Participate in code and design reviews to influence testability and quality standards at the source.

About the company

Future Secure AI builds persona-based, multi-agent AI Co-Workers designed for large enterprises and private equity firms. Their core offering, Red-Zone AI Co-Workers, consists of over 100 agent personas that automate complex, high-stakes workflows. The agents integrate with a client’s core systems and governance frameworks and operate securely on the client’s network, remaining cloud- and LLM-agnostic to avoid vendor lock-in. Workflows run within a hybrid team, with AI Co-Workers reporting to human managers and maintaining human-in-the-loop oversight. The company differentiates itself by targeting mission-critical environments with on-premise deployment, strong governance, and integration into existing IT and security controls, rather than generic AI tools. Their stated goal is to deliver 10x to 20x ROI on operating costs, often paying for themselves within six months. Clients span infrastructure, services, finance, health, and connected economies.
