  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least two years of Power Systems engine and electrical experience are required.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced, multitasking environment is required.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required, with no more than two minor violations in the past three years and no major violations in the past five years.
  • Ability to understand and follow corporate safety and compliance policies is required.
  • Knowledge of field service work and various types of equipment is required.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based applications and DBSI is required.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds and wear required safety equipment is required.
  • Ability to work varying schedules and hours as needed is required.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of assigned field service technicians and assign the most qualified technician while meeting customer demand for timely service visits.
  • Accommodate customer requests for service and adjust technician schedules as necessary to meet the customer's desired timeframe.
  • Open work orders by collecting all required information from the customer during the initial phone call and keep customers informed through job conclusion.
  • Review all field service work orders for accuracy.
  • Prepare and communicate warranty and goodwill situations with the Technical Communicator.
  • Report invoice disputes related to assigned work orders and personnel within the territory.
  • Maintain technician productivity; when revenue work is unavailable, execute productive maintenance tasks and training requirements.
  • Communicate technician safety deficiencies to the direct supervisor, including equipment malfunctions, vehicle safety issues, jobsite issues, and potential hazards.
  • Initiate services and repairs by determining performance problems and requested services, verifying warranty and service contract coverage, assigning available technicians, and maintaining customer rapport and records.
