Help modernize how securities transactions are accounted for and controlled across a global platform. You will work with finance, technology, operations, and accounting policy partners to design solutions that improve accuracy, transparency, and scalability. This role offers broad exposure to complex fixed income products, multi‑region requirements, and large transformation programs. If you enjoy solving ambiguous problems and translating accounting needs into buildable solutions, you’ll thrive here.
As a Senior Associate within the Strategic Finance Program Management team, you will partner with stakeholders across regions to deliver accounting architecture change from requirements through testing and readiness. You will document accounting requirements for debt instruments under U.S. GAAP and applicable local accounting standards, and translate those requirements into clear deliverables for technology and operations teams. You will contribute to a multi‑year initiative to build an in‑house securities processing platform, with initial focus on Latin America, Europe/Middle East/Africa, and Asia Pacific. You will help strengthen the control environment and ensure solutions align to established finance principles.
To be eligible for this role, you must be authorized to work in the United States. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this role. Likewise, JPMorgan Chase & Co. will not provide any assistance or sign any documentation in support of any other form of immigration sponsorship or benefit, including optional practical training (OPT) or curricular practical training (CPT).
Runs a consumer bank and an investment bank
JPMorgan Chase runs the largest bank in the United States, which serves households and small businesses as Chase and large companies, governments, and investors as J.P. Morgan. During the 2008 financial crisis it bought the failing investment bank Bear Stearns and lender Washington Mutual, and in 2023 it took over First Republic Bank after regulators seized it. Chase takes deposits and earns interest on credit cards, mortgages, and car loans, while the investment side earns fees for advising on mergers, raising money for companies, trading stocks and bonds, and managing wealth. Formed in a 2000 merger, JPMorgan Chase traces its roots to 1799 and is based in New York City.
