Responsibilities
Receive customer emails and determine the appropriate course of action, including routing.
Use different computer-aided design software to open and analyze customer drawings or download drawings from an FTP site.
Determine required procedures such as machining, welding, and burning, and contact customers when necessary.
Quantify work by determining the time required for tasks and the required materials and components.
Apply the hourly rate for time estimation.
Obtain quotes for outside processes and send the relevant data out.
When an inquiry becomes an order, create two-dimensional drawing files for production and check drawings and other data against the work order.
Act as a liaison between customers and shop production by answering questions and providing technical support.

Summary/objective: Steel Craft Technologies (SCT) is searching for CAD Operator/Detailer to join their team at their Belmont, MI plant!
Essential functions:

Position type and expected hours of work: Full time. 8:00 am – 5:00 pm / optional hours 7:00 am – 4:00 pm with approval.
