Requirements
  • Develop mastery of all Dow Jones data sources leveraged in analytics.
  • Use Tableau and Snowflake to aggregate and analyze data from various sources across multiple marketing distribution channels.
  • Achieve data quality, troubleshoot data validation, and resolve identified issues.
  • Evaluate large, complex datasets to inform marketing strategy.
  • Partner with data engineering and product engineering colleagues to collect, cleanse, and consistently organize data.
  • Establish benchmarks, inputs, and critical metrics for new marketing programs with marketing stakeholders.
  • Design and implement scalable Gold layer tables and views within the Customer data lake using Snowflake.
  • Manage multiple projects and dashboards simultaneously to meet objectives and deadlines.
  • Execute projects and dashboards with minimal guidance and supervision.
  • Use AI tools to automate data workflows and report generation.
  • Have 5+ years of experience in data analytics.
  • Have experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar tools.
  • Have experience manipulating datasets using R or Python and handling large-scale, unstructured data.
  • Have extensive SQL experience for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis, including stored procedures, complex joins, view creation, and database scripting.
  • Have experience with ETL processes and cloud-based tools such as Snowflake.
  • Have experience with AI tools such as Copilot, Claude Code, or OpenAI for improving productivity and building end-user-facing analytical products.
  • Have experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Possess strong data visualization and design skills.
  • Possess data-gathering, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess oral and written communication skills.
  • Have a BA or BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • Have time-management skills and the ability to work with diverse teams across multiple stakeholders and departments.
Responsibilities
  • Build, execute, and support campaign analytics across multiple lines of business.
  • Create insights from marketing data to support critical business and marketing decisions.
  • Educate stakeholders effectively about data findings and recommendations, build confidence in those recommendations, and motivate stakeholders to act on them.
