Application Systems Administrator
Primarily remote, with approximately one day per month on-site in Quebec City.
About the job
- A minimum college diploma (DEC) in computer science or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a programmer analyst.
- Contribution to at least two assignments completed during the past five years in comparable technology environments.
- Proficiency in SQL and .NET.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities.
- Customer-service orientation and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to plan and track multiple activities simultaneously.
- Professional rigor and strong organizational skills.
- Support the internal team with upgrade activities and integration of new modules of the software package in close collaboration with internal administrators and system owners.
- Configure and maintain the Hastus environment, including availability, performance, and security.
- Manage user access and profiles according to applicable security rules.
- Configure business rules and develop attributes or formulas.
- Manage or collaborate on integrations with other systems, including creation of OIG/OIR.
- Develop automation scripts for data transfer.
- Participate in integration testing and user acceptance testing.
- Install new software versions.
- Provide user support through diagnosis, corrections, and incident resolution.
- Monitor system performance and health and maintain technical documentation.
- Maintain an incident and corrective-action register.
- Maintain an access-management register.
- Document modified parameters in detail, including attributes, formulas, and lists.
- Update technical guides.
- Experience in an application systems administrator role.
- Participation in a project involving an upgrade of the Hastus software package.
- Knowledge of Talend tools, including ETL and ESB.
- Relevant certification, such as Microsoft or PMP, or equivalent.
