Requirements
  • College graduate.
  • Minimum one year of professional experience in a waitressing or food and beverage service role.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and point-of-sale software.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of food and beverage service standards and protocols.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and hygiene regulations in food service environments.
Responsibilities
  • Work hands-on toward the timely setup of the assigned food and beverage outlet according to meal settings and opening hours.
  • Contribute to meeting and maximizing the monthly revenue budget for the assigned outlet while controlling operational expenses.
  • Attend regular training sessions covering guest care, product knowledge, grooming standards, and upselling.
  • Perform assigned shift duties, including basic cleaning, polishing equipment, table setting, and collecting materials or goods from other departments.
  • Present menus, make recommendations, receive and place guest orders, and handle payments.
  • Maintain proper uniform condition, appearance, and grooming while on duty.
  • Greet arriving guests and coordinate their seating through the hostess.
  • Ensure that the outlet entrance is not left unattended.
  • Maintain a professional, friendly, and discreet relationship with outlet patrons.
  • Learn and apply knowledge of menus, promotions, and other relevant outlet information.
  • Report cleanliness and maintenance issues to the immediate supervisor.
  • Handle guest complaints according to instructions or consult the immediate supervisor.
  • Complete mise en place work according to whole-day service requirements.
  • Report equipment failures and maintenance requests to the Maintenance Department.
  • Participate in training and development schemes recommended by senior management.
  • Attend departmental briefings and contribute to open communication within the assigned team.
  • Treat guests and colleagues politely and courteously.
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and keep side stations clean and organized.
  • Anticipate customer needs.
  • Assist flexibly in different areas of the hotel when needed.
  • Follow company internal policies, safety procedures, fire, hygiene, health, and safety policies, and the department's operational standards manual.
  • Assist in other hotel areas when required.
  • Follow the property's environmental protocols by improving resource efficiency, supporting responsible energy and water consumption, reducing waste, supporting sustainable purchasing, and contributing to compliance.
  • Work with the hostess to ensure name tags are complete and correctly positioned.
  • Ensure business cards and database information are handed to the hostess for recordkeeping.
  • Hand bills to the cashier.
  • Ensure all items are charged correctly in the Micros system according to guest consumption.
