  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 10+ years of payroll processing experience
  • Experience at a tech startup
  • Proficient with ADP WorkforceNow
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations

  • Strong communications and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities
  • Manage the full cycle payroll process
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal customers
  • Develop and implement scalable payroll processes
  • Process payroll for hourly, salaried, and temporary employees
  • Ensure timely quarterly and annual tax filings
  • Prepare and file quarterly employer tax returns
  • Respond to all unemployment claims, garnishment inquiries, and regulatory notices
  • Interpret new legislation impacting payroll
  • Produce scheduled and ad-hoc reports as needed
  • Drive special projects to meet business objectives
