Requirements
  • Be in good standing with the OIIQ and hold a valid practice permit.
  • Have significant, recent hospital experience in emergency care or intensive care.
  • Be available full-time across day, evening, and night shifts, including weekends.
Responsibilities
  • Receive, triage, and rapidly assess the health status of patients presenting to the emergency department.
  • Provide continuous clinical monitoring and complex nursing care to unstable patients or patients admitted to intensive care.
  • Respond immediately and provide leadership during resuscitations or medical emergencies.
  • Work closely with the medical and interdisciplinary team to stabilize and direct patients.
  • Document clinical records rigorously and ensure safe continuity of care during shift changes.
Desired Qualifications
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
  • CTAS (Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale) certification.
