Requirements
Completion of high school or equivalent.
Metal Fabricator/Fitter 437A certification or equivalent.
One to four years of fabrication experience.
Stainless steel tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding experience.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, sketches, and schematics.
Ability to identify customer-related errors and potential issues and to adapt to changing priorities and conditions.
Responsibilities
Perform layout and fitting.
Use a brake, shear, saw, and iron worker.
Weld and polish or finish welds.
Assist with shop projects, including shop maintenance.
Fabricate parts and structures for various jobs and projects according to customer requests, working mostly with stainless steel.
Conduct quality control checks.
Work closely with designers, engineers, and product development.
Complete daily paperwork accurately and on time.
Promote safety, quality, consistency, and professionalism.
Desired Qualifications
Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) tickets are considered a strong asset.

We are seeking an experienced Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The Fabricator is responsible for reading and understanding schematics and blueprints and fabricating metal parts and structures per the customer request, working with mostly stainless steel. As a Fabricator you are a key point in assisting the team, learning, and developing skills to proceed towards becoming fully licensed. We are looking to add someone to our team who is eager to learn, detail-orientated and a team player. The Fabricator promotes a positive company image through safety, quality, consistency, and professionalism.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Layout (fitting)
Use of brake, shear and saw
Use of iron worker
Welding
Polishing/finishing welds
Assist with various shop projects, including shop maintenance

Requirements
Completion of High School or equivalent
Metal Fabricator/Fitter 437A or equivalent
Previous 1-4 years of fabrication experience
Stainless Steel TIG welding experience as a must
CWB tickets considered a strong asset
You have a get it done attitude and are skilled at removing barriers
You have the ability to think beyond the needs of the customer to point out errors and potential issues
You are able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions, cope effectively with complexity and change, quickly understand and absorb new information and respond appropriately
