- We are looking for those with a 4 year Nutrition and Dietetics degree, with at least 1 year experience coaching lifestyle and habit changes using nutrition and exercise. The Nutrition Specialist will work closely under a lead RD to provide evidence-based obesity science and nutrition advice.
- Must reside in the US or legally allowed to work in the United States (NPI required)
- OR
- We are looking for dietitians with: Bachelor's degree in Food &/or Nutritional Science.
- Minimum 12 months of experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian, working with patients with Diabetes or other metabolic diseases a plus.
- Current registration w/ the Commission on Dietetic Registry (CDR) in good standing.
- Knowledge of clinical competencies based on Nutrition Care Standards of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).
- For either type of applicant:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Strong proficiency and experience with medical technology including EMR and mobile apps.
- Collaboration & problem solving skills required.
- Ability to manage a large patient load and multiple touchpoints, both in face to face and app communication.
- Strong ability to empathize and connect with patients on a regular long term basis.
- Experience and comfortability working with our proprietary tech app.
- Bilingual (Arabic) medical fluency is a MUST as this role starts with a primarily Arabic speaking population.
- See patients via tele-health and work with a multidisciplinary team including Registered Dietitians and medical providers to provide best-in-class care and outcomes for your patients - communicating with them both synchronously and asynchronously.
- Previous experience in curriculum development.
- Demonstrated knowledge of behavior change.
- Previous individual, small group and large group/classroom training/teaching experience.
