Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience managing fitness or wellness center operations at large campuses, country clubs, or boutique wellness spaces.
  • At least 2 years of experience planning and executing tenant engagement programs and on-site activations.
  • Experience preparing client-facing meeting agendas, presentations, and communications.
  • A current group fitness certification from a nationally recognized organization such as the American Council on Exercise, Athletics and Fitness Association of America, National Academy of Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, or an equivalent organization is required.
  • Must be willing and able to provide fitness class or training coverage as needed, including for VIP clients or during instructor absences.
  • Experience driving revenue and efficiency through utilization planning, staffing models, and resource management.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and key stakeholders to deliver the guest experience.
  • Experience using booking, scheduling, and collaboration tools, including Google Workspace, Slack, and event platforms, and ability to learn membership and program management systems.
  • Ability to maintain organized, pristine, service-ready spaces and uphold high-quality hospitality standards.
  • Ability to optimize staffing, utilization, and resources while maintaining service standards.
  • Ability to set clear expectations, coach team members, and support their personal and professional growth.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations, complex escalations, and unexpected problems while protecting the brand's reputation.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and ensure operational standards and client commitments are delivered.
Responsibilities
  • Own the operational readiness of fitness centers, outdoor sports facilities, rock climbing walls, and pools.
  • Optimize space utilization, resources, energy, and staffing schedules to improve revenue and operational efficiency.
  • Guide and grow a high-performing team of Hosts by setting clear goals and expectations.
  • Serve as the final escalation point for execution, clearing obstacles and navigating complex scenarios to maintain a seamless guest experience.
  • Partner across functions to align programming with service expectations and uphold brand standards.
  • Ensure activations and bookings align with operational standards and client commitments.
  • Maintain equipment readiness and execute efficient space resets.
  • Use data, audits, and guest feedback to report on impact and continuously refine services.
Desired Qualifications
  • Personal Training certification is a plus.
  • Experience overseeing multiple service lines such as fitness, events, hospitality, wellness, or tenant experience is a plus.
