NTREIS moves to RentSpree for rental applications and tenant screening. RentSpree partners with NTREIS to bring integrated rental applications and tenant screening tools to subscribers across Texas and Louisiana. North Texas Real Estate Information Systems (NTREIS) has partnered with RentSpree to provide rental screening and application tools to real estate professionals across Texas and parts of Louisiana. The integration launched Aug. 25, giving NTREIS subscribers access to RentSpree's rental tools directly through the MLS. NTREIS transitioned to RentSpree from a previous rental technology provider. Through the integration, subscribers can manage rental applications and tenant screening within their existing MLS workflow, helping agents and brokers handle steps that can otherwise add time to the leasing process. Supporting a competitive rental market. The partnership comes as rental markets across Texas and Louisiana continue to see significant activity. More than 250,000 people have relocated to the two states, while recent job growth has contributed to continued housing demand. Median rent in Texas is about $1,783 per month, down approximately 5.8% year over year, according to figures provided by RentSpree. About 40% of rental listings are offering concessions. In Louisiana, the median rent across unit types is approximately $1,500 per month. In competitive rental markets, pricing can have a significant effect on how quickly a property leases. According to RentSpree, well-priced and well-presented properties typically lease within the first two weeks, while overpriced properties can remain available for more than a month. The RentSpree integration gives NTREIS subscribers another tool for managing the application and screening stages once prospective tenants are ready to move forward. RentSpree expands its MLS footprint. NTREIS serves real estate professionals throughout much of Texas and portions of Louisiana, giving the RentSpree partnership a two-state footprint. The coverage includes North Texas markets such as Dallas-Fort Worth and surrounding communities, as well as areas where real estate professionals may work across state lines. RentSpree also has a partnership with Central Texas MLS that dates to 2024. With the addition of NTREIS, the company says its rental technology is now available to roughly 100,000 real estate professionals across the region. The NTREIS agreement follows other RentSpree partnerships with MLS Technology, Willamette Valley MLS and BAREIS MLS as the company continues expanding distribution of its rental technology through MLS organizations. Training resources and RentSpree support are available to NTREIS subscribers as they begin using the newly integrated tools.
Obie and RentSpree team up on landlord cover. August 25, 2026 Obie, a leading provider of insurance solutions for landlords and real estate investors, has joined forces with RentSpree, a leading rental software platform that helps real estate professionals and landlords simplify the leasing process, to embed landlord insurance directly into RentSpree's existing workflow. Through the collaboration, RentSpree customers can now tap into Obie's landlord insurance offering without leaving the platform they already use to manage their rentals. Landlords are able to obtain a direct quote and buy cover suited to their investment property in the same place they market vacancies, vet tenants and collect rent, removing the need to seek out insurance separately. By folding Obie's offering into that existing toolkit, the two companies say they are turning landlord insurance into a natural extension of the leasing process rather than a separate errand. The insurance itself is powered by Obie's proprietary technology, which is designed to give RentSpree users real-time quotes and let them bind a policy within minutes. Obie says the partnership fits its broader strategy of reaching real estate investors through the platforms they already use day to day, rather than requiring them to seek out cover independently. Founded in 2017, Obie has focused on simplifying investment property insurance for landlords and real estate investors across the United States. The company pairs its own technology with specialist underwriting to produce fast, accurate quotes, and it already works alongside a number of real estate technology providers, lenders, property management platforms and independent agents to widen access to landlord insurance. Obie Co-Founder Ryan Letzeiser said, "Real estate investors are increasingly looking for connected experiences that make managing their properties simpler. "RentSpree has built a platform that helps landlords manage key parts of the rental lifecycle, and this collaboration extends that experience by making it easy to secure specialized landlord insurance at the moment it's needed. Together, we're helping investors spend less time navigating administrative tasks and more time growing their portfolios." RentSpree CEO and co-founder Michael Lucarelli said, "Working with Obie represents exactly what we set out to build at RentSpree: a comprehensive platform that simplifies every aspect of the rental lifecycle for landlords and agents. "By bringing Obie's landlord insurance options directly into our platform, we're removing yet another friction point, and adding one more essential component to the landlord toolkit. It's a game-changer for investors looking to streamline their operations." Enjoying the stories? Investors. The following investor(s) were tagged in this article.
Central Virginia Regional MLS and RentSpree partner to add free tenant screening. Updated on Aug 03, 2026 Published on Aug 11, 2026 Event Marketing Lead Top rated, trusted screening, rent payments, and more. RentSpree is announcing a new partnership with Central Virginia Regional MLS (CVRMLS) that brings free tenant screening directly into its agents' MLS platform. This integration, launching August 11, gives over 8,000 CVRMLS members an additional tool they need to compete in an increasingly rental-focused market. As Richmond's rental market is booming, CVRMLS members have faced a fundamental challenge managing rentals. This looks like disconnected, vendor-heavy workflows, where applications come in through the MLS, but screening requests have to leave the platform to go to a third party. After this, leases are signed elsewhere. This means friction for agents and inconsistent experiences for tenants and landlords. Now, RentSpree is helping CVRMLS embed free screening tools directly into their workflow. Agents can screen tenants for their clients with no cost and no learning curve, meaning the booming rental market is increasingly open for business. Why this matters for CVRMLS. For the 8,000+ member agents in CVRMLS, Richmond's rental market shows no signs of slowing down. The Richmond MSA has added approximately 15,000-18,000 new residents annually over the past three years, a growth driven by affordability migration from Northern Virginia and job growth across a diversified economy (healthcare, banking, government, and tech). So as rentals become a larger share of agent revenue, CVRMLS members will need the same level of embedded support for these transactions that they expect for sales. By moving tenant screening into their MLS platform, CVRMLS can become a single source of truth for Richmond's entire rental market. Agents will build and scale rental business, and CVRMLS can use this technology as a competitive advantage. The broader shift. This partnership also underscores a clear industry trend. CVRMLS joins a rapidly growing roster of 2026 MLS partners integrating RentSpree's top-tier tools. This includes Bright MLS, MIBOR, realMLS, MLS Technology, and others. MLSs nationwide are realizing that rental tools aren't optional anymore, and for CVRMLS members, the benefit is immediate. Frictionless tenant screening means faster lease signings and more professional transactions. Now agents and their MLS can stay competitive and move with the market instead of reacting to it. What's next. CVRMLS will officially launch the integration on August 11, 2026, with comprehensive training and dedicated RentSpree support. And Richmond agents now have what they've been asking for: a single platform that handles rentals with the same sophistication as sales.
RentSpree partners with MLS Technology to bring free screening and leasing tools to Tulsa. Updated on Jul 31, 2026 Published on Aug 11, 2026 Event Marketing Lead Top rated, trusted screening, rent payments, and more. RentSpree partners with MLS Technology to bring free screening and leasing tools to Tulsa, Oklahoma real estate agents. RentSpree is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Tulsa, Oklahoma's, MLS Technology, a joint venture poised to deliver free tenant screening and leasing tools directly to more than 5000 agents in the Tulsa market. Nearly half of Tulsa's real estate activity is represented by rentals, which means MLS Technology's member agents stand to drastically improve client pipelines and better build long-term relationships by improving the landlord and tenant experiences. And they can do this without having to learn complicated new systems or added workflow, as RentSpree's free tools integrate seamlessly into MLS Technology's existing platform. It's a win-win-win scenario, as tenants, landlords, and real-estate agents in Tulsa all gain a more effortless experience, save time, and gain a little more peace of mind in Tulsa's robust rental market. Seamless integration for Tulsa agents. For a market with as much rental activity as Tulsa, this integration eliminates friction exactly where agents need it most. RentSpree's tools run on MLS Technology's Matrix system with single sign-on, which means agents can use these tools without creating a separate (or new) account. RentSpree's Standard tier includes tenant screening and leasing management for MLS members at no additional cost. A market built for rentals. As of July 2026, the average rent in Tulsa is $1,149 per month, which is 41% below the national average. Because this rental market demonstrates strong economic opportunity for landlords and long-term investment, agents in Tulsa don't need to think of every rental transaction as a one-off. Renters become landlords, and landlords become multiple-unit landlords. Providing a frictionless experience for tenants and getting landlords paid quickly and effectively is an agent's best advertisement for future business. RentSpree's tools will help agents grow and scale their rental business efficiently, all from the Matrix dashboard they already use daily. Growing national network. This partnership reinforces RentSpree's expanding footprint across MLS markets nationwide. MLS Technology joins a growing network of MLS partners integrating RentSpree's tools, from All Jersey MLS to Bright MLS, realMLS, FMLS, The MLS, MIBOR, and beyond. This momentum reflects a clear industry shift and opportunity, as rental tools are no longer optional, but essential to keeping agents competitive. What's next. MLS Technology will officially launch the integration in the coming weeks, with comprehensive training resources and dedicated RentSpree support.
RentSpree partners with EBRHA for East Bay Landlords. Updated on Jun 01, 2026 Published on Jun 04, 2026 Event Marketing Lead Top rated, trusted screening, rent payments, and more. An integrated rental platform is now available to EBRHA members, providing streamlined tenant screening, compliance support, and end-to-end rental tools designed for the East Bay market. Seattle, WA - June 2, 2026 RentSpree has launched a new partnership with the East Bay Rental Housing Association (EBRHA), bringing integrated rental management tools directly to landlords and property owners throughout the East Bay region. Effective immediately, EBRHA members will have access to RentSpree's full suite of rental tools, which includes online applications, tenant screening, lease signing, and rent payment management. The partnership addresses a critical need in the East Bay rental market, where landlords face complex regulatory requirements alongside everyday operational challenges. RentSpree's integration into EBRHA's member offerings provides a single platform for managing the full rental lifecycle while helping agents and landlords stay compliant with local regulations. Simplifying compliance for East Bay landlords. The East Bay rental market operates under some of California's most stringent landlord-tenant regulations. East Bay landlords must navigate rent control ordinances, local screening requirements, and strict adverse action notice rules. Many have relied on disconnected tools, and moving between spreadsheets, screening services, manual lease generation, and fragmented payment processing, can create inefficiencies, compliance risk, and add to operational overhead. "This partnership with EBRHA reflects our commitment to serving landlords in regulated markets," said Michael Lucarelli, CEO and Co-Founder of RentSpree. "The East Bay presents unique challenges: complex local regulations, diverse property types, and landlords who need tools built for compliance, not just convenience. RentSpree simplifies screening, automates compliance, and keeps them focused on their business." Streamlined screening and trusted tools. RentSpree's screening capabilities include bank-verified income, automated adverse action compliance, and integration with major credit and background providers. For EBRHA members, this means: * Faster tenant qualification. Applications and screening occur in one platform, reducing time-to-lease. * Compliance automation. Adverse action notices are pre-populated and FCRA-compliant, eliminating manual work and legal risk. * Fraud prevention. Bank-verified income catches falsified documents, protecting landlords from costly mistakes. * Unified management. Lease signing and rent payment happen in the same system, creating a complete audit trail. About EBRHA. The East Bay Rental Housing Association represents property owners and landlords throughout the East Bay region, supporting members with tools, education, and advocacy to navigate California's complex rental housing regulations.
