About the Job

Requirements

  • At least 9 years of experience in software engineering.
  • At least 2 years as a Lead Software Engineer with hands-on technical leadership of cross-functional teams.
  • Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core, C#, and the modern .NET ecosystem.
  • Proficiency with Angular or React frontend technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with software architecture, including domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Experience designing and implementing multi-agent artificial intelligence systems and agent observability.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS), including serverless, caching, and API management services.
  • Experience with database replication, high availability, and failover strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery, source control, Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of security practices, including vulnerability scanning (static application security testing, dynamic application security testing, and software composition analysis), artificial intelligence endpoint security, and agent authentication.
  • Experience with Agile methodology.
  • Ability to engage with clients; the role requires regular interaction with US clients.
  • Ability to learn independently and stay current with software development trends.

Responsibilities

  • Own and approve system architecture, design specifications, and technical direction.
  • Define bounded contexts and map context relationships using domain-driven design patterns, including Shared Kernel, Customer-Supplier, and Anti-Corruption Layers.
  • Design event-driven systems by modeling domain events, implementing asynchronous event processing, ensuring event idempotency, and handling eventual consistency.
  • Design microservices communication strategies, including synchronous and asynchronous communication, API gateways, database-per-service patterns, and distributed transaction handling.
  • Design distributed caching strategies, including cache-aside, write-through, and cache invalidation and coherency patterns.
  • Design testing strategies covering contract, integration, and end-to-end testing, as well as test data management.
  • Integrate large language models, implement simple retrieval-augmented generation, and build simple artificial intelligence workflows such as n8n.
  • Design and implement multi-agent systems in which agents collaborate using coordination frameworks or shared context for complex workflows.
  • Implement multi-agent reliability patterns, including retry logic, branching and conditional logic, fallback strategies, and long-running task management.
  • Establish agent evaluation frameworks by logging agent actions, tracking errors, latency, and success rates, and driving continuous improvement through feedback loops.
  • Implement advanced caching solutions using Redis or Azure Cache, including strings, hashes, lists, sets, sorted sets, and publish/subscribe.
  • Design complex serverless orchestration, including function chaining, fan-out/fan-in workflows, connection pooling, and scalability optimization.
  • Design API gateway policies, including request/response pipelines, hierarchical policy scopes (global, API, endpoint), authentication and authorization mechanisms, and transformation and caching policies.
  • Design and implement database replication (master-slave) and high availability/failover strategies.
  • Design multi-container applications using Docker Compose; manage data-persistence volumes; configure container networking, port mapping, and environment variables.
  • Drive continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline practices and source-control workflows across the team.
  • Secure artificial intelligence API keys and model endpoints through key rotation, rate limiting, endpoint authentication, TLS, usage monitoring, cost controls, and IP allow listing.
  • Design agent authentication and authorization, including agent identity management, service-to-service authentication, credential rotation, and inter-agent communication security.
  • Apply vulnerability scanning approaches and tools, including SAST, DAST, SCA, SonarQube, and Snyk.
  • Enforce sound software engineering practices, including iterative development, code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and automation testing.
  • Review and sign off on functional and technical specifications; monitor deliverables against specifications and provide corrective actions.
  • Champion best practices in design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean architecture.
  • Mentor and train team members on software design, design patterns, SOLID principles, and emerging technologies.
  • Conduct educational code reviews to raise the engineering bar across the team.
  • Assess team capabilities and advise the Technical Project Lead on task assignments based on technical strengths.
  • Provide technical feasibility assessments and effort estimates for scope reviews and change requests.
  • Supply technical input for risk assessments, status reports, and delivery decisions.
  • Support client-facing technical discussions and demonstrations when deep technical context is needed.

About the Company

Integrant

Enterprise software engineering with AI agents

Integrant builds enterprise software for regulated industries like medical devices, life sciences, pharma, financial services, manufacturing, and the public sector. Their offerings include full platform development, modernization of legacy systems, or embedding AI agents into client workflows. It uses the Agentic Software Development Life Cycle (ADLC), where AI agents assist across requirements, architecture, build, test, and deployment, while engineers with deep domain knowledge govern every step to ensure quality. Unlike many firms, Integrant combines top-tier engineering talent (the top 1% in a demanding market), a long-track record in regulated environments, and responsible AI acceleration with engineer accountability. Their goal is to be the trusted technology partner clients rely on for mission-critical software that lasts. Headquartered in San Diego with engineering centers in Cairo and Amman.
