Requirements

  • Applicants must complete applicable pre-licensing coursework, examinations, and state licensing requirements at their own expense before conducting licensed insurance activities.
  • Applicants should be comfortable learning new technology and managing their time effectively.
  • Applicants should be able to listen, solve problems, think critically, communicate with clients, maintain organization and accountability, and work toward goals.
  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, administration, banking, call centers, military service, client relations, financial services, recruiting, or sales is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
  • Meet prospective and existing clients through scheduled Zoom and phone appointments.
  • Connect with individuals and families interested in learning about available benefits; listen to their needs, priorities, and concerns; and answer questions clearly, professionally, and promptly.
  • Provide personalized guidance, build long-term client relationships, and provide ongoing follow-up and customer service.
  • Maintain accurate digital records and documentation, and manage appointments, schedules, and follow-up activities.
  • Conduct virtual benefit consultations and explain life, accident, and supplemental health insurance options.
  • Review available coverage with clients, help identify individual and family protection needs, and provide needs-based recommendations.
  • Assist clients with applications, enrollment, applicable policy and benefit reviews, beneficiary updates, and service requests.
  • Provide ongoing support after enrollment.
  • Participate in virtual training, coaching, meetings, and professional education.
