About the job
- A Bachelor's degree in general nursing is required.
- A particular professional title in perioperative care, anesthesia, operating assistance, and instrumentation is required.
- Experience in the operating room, recovery room, coronary care unit or middle-care, intensive care, or emergency department is an asset.
- Prioritize patient safety.
- Be willing to undertake regular training and collaborate constructively in a technical and innovative work environment.
- Demonstrate clinical understanding and technical skills.
- Have organizational and interpersonal abilities.

- Serve as the link between all stakeholders and assist medical staff by preparing and handling the specific instruments and equipment needed for the planned procedure.
- Work as a circulating nurse, with the opportunity to train as an instrument nurse.
- Share information and ensure good communication among the various stakeholders.
- Develop technical skills and professional abilities through continuing education.
- Participate in implementing new projects within the operating room service.
- Participate in projects evaluating the quality of care within the operating room service.
- Experience in the operating room, recovery room, coronary care unit or middle-care, intensive care, or emergency department is an asset.
- Any language in addition to French and Dutch is an important asset.
