About the job
- A minimum of 2 years of construction management experience is required.
- At least 2 years of proven leadership or supervisory experience is required.
- A clean driving motor vehicle record and background check covering the past 18 years are required.

- Vision correctable to 20/20 is required.
- Conduct site surveys to determine the initial project plan with superintendents and project managers.
- Ensure required material orders, equipment deliveries, and inspections occur to support the project schedule.
- Maintain site safety for workers and visitors and manage compliance with established company safety policies.
- Understand, review, and manage project plans, specifications, and manufacturer's data, and execute the project based on those documents.
- Review construction documents for completeness and constructability.
- Manage the project and three-week look-ahead schedules, including maintaining master schedules and updating them weekly.
- Generate requests for information as needed to complete project documents and identify and clarify discrepancies.
- Work with the project team to follow the company's project quality-control program.
- Conduct preconstruction planning meetings.
- Conduct on-site project meetings with subcontractors and construction-trade lead personnel to clarify scope of work and quality expectations.
- Manage subcontractors for all on-site work.
- Keep the job site organized and clean, including meeting waste-disposal and environmental-protection standards.
- Track site progress, take progress photos, and report subcontractor on-site labor hours using a phone app.
