Requirements

A bachelor's degree or higher in a mechanical- or chemical-related major is required.
Over 3 years of service sales experience is required, with proven experience in the energy industry and inorganic chemical spare parts or service sales.
Experience managing distributors is required.
Must be able to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

Lead the team to achieve annual Service and Parts Sales targets.
Drive transaction flow from enquiry to quote to order by providing quotes and follow-up, preparing standard contracts and sales orders to support the external Sales team, and identifying and obtaining potential business opportunities.
Take overall responsibility for the EDX Customer Support Centre.
Evaluate project delivery performance and logistics budgets and costs, and advise the department manager on how to control them.
Manage accounts receivable collection.
Coordinate among customers, departments, production, and suppliers.
Build customer relationships in assigned areas and continually understand customers' needs and feedback.
Develop team skills and competencies, and build and retain a multi-skilled, performance-oriented team that represents Alfa Laval's core values.
Develop and maintain good knowledge of key processes and tools within the responsible areas.
Analyze and develop competitive quotations with external sales to secure orders.
Monitor transactional business pricing preset in the system.
Prepare quarterly forecasts to achieve desired financial results.
Take general responsibility for EDX reporting.
Perform ad hoc assignments as required.

Desired Qualifications

An inorganic chemical sales background is highly preferred.

As a team manager, you will lead the team to:
1) To achieve the annual target for Service and Parts Sales.

Competencies, experience and attitudes to do the job

Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical or chemical related majors
Over 3 years’ service sales experience, with proven experience in Energy industry and inorganic chemical spare parts/service sales; inorganic chemical sales background is highly preferred
Experience in managing distributors and high integrity
Good business acumen, willing to learn
Teamwork spirit and good cross function communication skills
Can accept travel rate up to 60%
