WorkFusion opens AI compliance agents to partner delivery.

WorkFusion opens AI compliance agents to partner delivery. October 2, 2026 WorkFusion has widened its managed services ecosystem so that banks and other financial institutions are no longer bound to a single delivery model for agentic AI, with Capgemini, Deloitte, Mphasis and Protiviti among the partners involved. Under the expanded model, partners can pair their own specialist staff and delivery capabilities with WorkFusion's AI Agents. Financial institutions can then decide how they want to deploy, run and grow agentic AI across transaction monitoring investigations, KYC, sanctions screening alert review and enhanced due diligence. They can run the WorkFusion and UiPath technology in-house, bring in a partner for implementation and operational support, blend partner expertise with the AI Agents, or buy particular financial crime functions as a managed service. WorkFusion says its benefits apply whichever commercial or delivery route a firm chooses. The company argues that no one operating model suits every institution. A large global bank may want several deployment options, while another may need outside specialists to supplement internal teams, and a third may prefer to buy outcomes outright as a service. Because the core technology stays the same when the operating model shifts, institutions can select partners according to specialism, geography, capacity, existing relationships and business needs, then adjust the arrangement as those needs change. The partner role is also broadening. Rather than acting purely as implementers, partners can build WorkFusion capabilities into the services they sell to banks. WorkFusion says this enables managed offerings across transaction monitoring, KYC, screening, enhanced due diligence and wider financial crime operations, cutting the internal operations and technology resources customers need and speeding up time to value. The buying decision, it suggests, becomes centred on a defined operational result rather than another software purchase. WorkFusion frames the combination as a hybrid workforce. Partners contribute experienced financial crime professionals and domain knowledge, while the AI Agents supply pre-built operational capacity, consistency and scale. Agents handle defined tasks and human specialists apply judgment and oversight where it counts most. The company says this can lift throughput and analyst productivity, strengthen risk management and allow operations to grow without matching rises in headcount. For service providers, agentic AI may also reshape delivery economics, letting teams process larger volumes while reserving specialist talent for higher-value work. WorkFusion, part of UiPath, supplies AI Agents designed to carry out financial crime compliance work for financial institutions, operating on a single technology foundation that can be consumed through multiple routes. The company's position is that the future of financial crime operations does not require a choice between technology and services, or between AI Agents and people, but rather the freedom to combine them. WorkFusion CEO Adam Famularo said, "In financial crime compliance, the pace of technology innovation means that the operating model that made sense yesterday may not make sense tomorrow. An ecosystem of specialized providers gives financial institutions alternatives for expertise, capacity and geographic coverage while maintaining a trusted technology foundation. That provides something increasingly valuable in a rapidly changing financial crime environment: the ability to evolve." Enjoying the stories? Investors.
