Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience is required.
- For sonography-specific courses, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification is required.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms including Banner, Canvas, Blackboard, and Adobe Connect is required.
- Professionalism, diplomacy, judgment, and discretion are required.
- Ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students, faculty, and colleagues is required.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication is required.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses within the Sonography curriculum that coordinate with clinical experience.
- Develop course objectives, lesson plans, curriculum, and syllabi.
- Design, prepare, and develop teaching materials that conform to the AIUM, SDMS, and JRCDMS guidelines regarding sonography education.
- Instruct and evaluate students and report progress using Touro instructional tools, including Canvas.
- Participate in periodic review and revision of course and program materials.
- Maintain appropriate expertise and competencies through continuing professional development.

- A Master's Degree is preferred.
