Requirements
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Ability to understand and work from blueprints and prior experience with measuring tools is required.
  • Familiarity with and manual dexterity for using small hand tools on critical parts with tight tolerances is required.
  • Good written and oral communication skills are required.
  • Ability to manage priorities and understand production demands is required.
  • Comfort with technical issues and the ability to use previous technical experience to solve technical problems is required.
  • Ability to work reliably, get along well with others, and work independently is required.
  • Applicants must pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screening excluding THC, and meet U.S. work authorization requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Perform assembly, bonding, testing, and screening in conformance with part specifications.
  • Use small hand tools as required by the job.
  • Perform assemblies according to specific work instructions.
  • Work in an environment with odors related to plastic epoxies and resins used in bonding.
  • Complete all paperwork thoroughly and neatly.
  • Inspect work for conformance with blueprints using measuring equipment.
  • Pursue opportunities to develop new skills within the department and across departmental lines.
  • Assist Production with other jobs as requested.
  • Follow the company's values and conduct work ethically and professionally.
  • Adhere to AS9100 requirements specified in work instructions and by the supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
