Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience in renewable asset performance, operations analytics, business intelligence, or operational reporting.
  • Experience analysing operational data from solar photovoltaic, wind, battery energy storage systems, utilities, or comparable infrastructure assets.
  • Experience defining and interpreting operational key performance indicators and presenting performance insights to stakeholders.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into reporting or digital solutions.
  • Strong Microsoft Power BI capability, including data modelling, Data Analysis Expressions, Power Query, and effective dashboard design.
  • Good knowledge of renewable energy key performance indicators such as availability, performance ratio, production, losses, and downtime.
  • Strong analytical and data-visualization skills, with sufficient Structured Query Language knowledge to validate and investigate datasets.
  • Knowledge of data-quality controls, reconciliation, KPI governance, and reporting documentation.
  • Ability to analyse time-series and multi-asset operational data and distinguish performance events from data issues.
Responsibilities
  • Define, document, and maintain operational KPIs, calculation rules, and business definitions across assets, countries, and renewable technologies.
  • Collect and structure reporting requirements from Asset Management and leadership stakeholders.
  • Specify and build Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring clear performance views, consistent logic, and validated data sources.
  • Analyse portfolio and asset performance, support benchmarking, and investigate material deviations or unexpected trends.
  • Validate operational data from platforms, flag anomalies, and coordinate root-cause analysis.
  • Translate operational needs into use cases, functional requirements, priorities, and acceptance criteria for digital asset solutions.
  • Support user acceptance testing, business readiness, adoption, and value tracking following implementation.
  • Coordinate with Asset Management, Energy Management, OT Integration & Data, and IT Data & Analytics on reporting and digital initiatives.
Desired Qualifications
  • A degree in Engineering, Energy, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Python or R, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) or historian data, forecasting, or anomaly detection.

Greenvolt lands UniCredit debt for 400 MW of Polish BESS

Portuguese renewable energy company Greenvolt Group said on Thursday it has closed a EUR-218-million (USD 253.9m) funding deal with Italy’s UniCredit SpA (BIT:UCG) supporting two of its Polish battery projects totalling 400 MW/1,600 MWh.

Greenvolt Completes €50M Capital Increase

Greenvolt completed the second phase of its capital increase, raising an additional €50 million. The first phase, amounting to €100 million, occurred in August. This brings the total capital increase to €150 million, fully subscribed by shareholder KKR. The recent €50 million was contributed by GVK Omega, SGPS. Following this, Greenvolt's subscribed and paid-up capital now totals €917.1 million, represented by 205,348,791 ordinary shares.
