Requirements
  • One to three years of relevant customer service experience.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Proficiency with computer tools, including Microsoft and Google applications.
  • Ability to organize, track ongoing work, follow tasks through to completion, multitask, prioritize efficiently, solve problems, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced office and warehouse environment with shifting priorities while maintaining deadlines.
  • Ability to anticipate needs and demonstrate a sense of urgency.
  • Third-party logistics experience is a plus.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate effective communication, accountability, respect, trust, and commitment to people development and safety.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare, analyze, and send daily reports.
  • Coordinate and monitor warehouse inbound and outbound shipments, including e-commerce, wholesale, and retail shipments.
  • Work with appropriate parties to resolve issues that delay processing and ensure orders are shipped within expected windows.
  • Monitor the warehouse management system to track service-level agreements and address late orders as needed.
  • Communicate with warehouse teams and escalate issues.
  • Prepare reports for senior leaders and clients when needed.
  • Intercept carrier packages as needed.
  • Assist in training new clients on using the warehouse management system.
  • Maintain current vendor compliance information, gather customer information, and educate clients where applicable.
  • Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Research error resolution for inventory issues.
  • Handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve conflicts with clients while maintaining a cooperative working relationship and escalating when necessary.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed while providing service to clients.
  • Review billing to identify issues and ensure accuracy.
  • Train and coordinate tasks with the Assistant Client Service Manager.

Spectrum Works recently said it appointed Marjorie Ramos, chief people officer at Bergen Logistics, to its board of directors. The Bergen Logistics expansion in the UK is set to create up to 60 jobs and Kevin Rogers, managing director for Elanders in the UK, said it will complement the Elanders offering in North Tyneside, which has a combined headcount of around 200 staff.
