About the job
- A Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required.
- At least 6 years of performance testing experience is required, including at least 2 years of IPTV performance testing across desktop, mobile, and set-top box platforms.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as StormTest, Locust, or JMeter is required.
- Hands-on experience in API testing and understanding of API load generation are required.
- Strong development skills in Java and Python using Selenium, Appium, and OpenCV are required.
- Strong analytical skills for analyzing test execution and load results are required.
- Experience working in a client-site laboratory environment with multiple vendors is required.
- Experience with test management tools such as Jira or ALM is required.
- Extensive experience with debugging tools and log-capture techniques, including Wireshark, Fiddler, developer tools, and WinSCP, is required.
- Understanding of SQL queries and database concepts is required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel macros, is required.
- Perform performance and KPI testing for front-end IPTV applications across mobile, desktop, and set-top box platforms.
- Conduct API testing and generate API load.
- Develop automation and testing solutions using Java, Python, Selenium, Appium, and OpenCV.
- Analyze test execution and load results.
- Work in a client-site laboratory environment with multiple vendors.
- Use test management, debugging, network-analysis, and log-capture tools to support testing activities.
- Work with SQL queries and database concepts in testing activities.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing on large-scale IPTV solutions is preferred.
- Experience with video quality testing is desirable.
- Experience with traffic modeling for an IPTV service is desirable.
- Hands-on experience with VoIP phone performance testing is desirable.
- Hands-on experience with broadband testing is desirable.
- Previous consulting experience is preferred.
