- Test, repair, and maintain electric and manual chain hoists.
- Repair and maintain rigging equipment, truss, and flight cases.
- Maintain the work area.
- Repair electrical and/or mechanical faults in electric chain hoists and automation products, including ancillary equipment such as power distribution and machinery control systems.
- Carry out limited electronic repairs to circuit-board level.
- Modify and upgrade Christie Lites Official Rental Product Line equipment to Christie Lites standards, as specified in the provided technical notes.
- Order parts required for repairs.
- Inspect and certify lifting equipment based on regional standards and directives at designated intervals, as laid out in company standards documents.
- Ensure all tools and supplies are returned to proper storage at the end of the shift.
- Keep an updated inventory of parts and tools in the department.
- Record all repairs in the Nexus Service software module.
- Upload all passed certification documents to NEXUS or SharePoint.
