About the job
- Basic computer and math knowledge.
- Must be able to count money.
- Must be able to complete point-of-sale transactions accurately while interacting with customers, coworkers, and telephone customers, and simultaneously monitor entrance and exit points for shrinkage.
- Must be able to stand and walk for eight hours or more per day and perform the required physical activities, including stooping, reaching, keyboarding, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion.
- Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, and a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
- Must have close visual acuity for preparing and analyzing figures, transcribing, viewing a terminal, reading, inspecting small defects and parts, and using measurement devices; must be able to assess work accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness and observe business activity.
- Must be able to operate a cash register, POS program, Eagle Browser, and OpenOffice.
- Must meet customer expectations through genuine service, understanding customer perspectives, and communicating to address customer needs and concerns.
- Must maintain ethical conduct, take responsibility for mistakes, keep commitments, and treat others with respect.
- Must support group goals, accept different points of view, and build respectful relationships with team members.
