Requirements
All drivers must have their own set of tools.
A Class A Commercial Driver’s License and at least 2 years of verifiable experience are required.
A current Department of Transportation Medical Card is required.
Registration in the Department of Transportation Clearinghouse is required.
A clean driving record for the last 3 years is required.
Candidates must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Candidates must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Candidates must be able to perform lifting, crawling, pulling, constant hand use, bending, reaching, and climbing, and have significant physical strength and stamina.
Responsibilities
Operate heavy tow trucks, rollbacks, and service trucks efficiently and safely.
Respond to Florida Traffic Incident Management Program calls and RISC calls.
Work safely at accident scenes, often in traffic and all-weather conditions.
Cooperate closely with law enforcement and other first responders.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
Operate GPS mapping devices.
Build customer relationships and provide thoughtful solutions.
Maintain a professional appearance and represent Stepp’s Towing and Heavy Transport.
Pursue continuous improvement by adopting new tools and processes.
Treat coworkers respectfully and foster a positive team environment.
Promote company opportunities and make referrals.
Work 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday and be on call every third night and every third weekend of the month.
Desired Qualifications
Proven heavy-duty towing experience is preferred.
Mechanical knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications
Class A CDL with at least 2 years of verifiable experience
Current DOT Medical Card
Proven heavy-duty towing experience preferred
Mechanical knowledge a plus.
Registered in the DOT Clearinghouse
Clean driving record for the last 3 years
Able to pass a background check and drug test
Commission Pay
Graduated commission pay scale starting at 25%
This pay structure should not be misconstrued as a salaried position.
Schedule
12-hour shifts - Monday to Friday
On-Call every 3rd night and every 3rd weekend of the month
