Responsibilities

Lead production personnel by providing supervision and training, scheduling work, resolving problems, and providing direction, discipline, and evaluations.
Identify staffing needs, interview candidates, and recommend employee selection.
Work toward department, site, and company goals for production, quality, and other standards.
Monitor and report daily production results, including downtime, efficiencies, material shortages, and waste.
Interact with internal functional departments, such as Quality and Engineering, to solve issues and improve productivity.
Ensure compliance with time and attendance, safety, standard operating procedures, and housekeeping standards.
Apply expertise to resolve problems associated with production and procedures.
Participate in productivity improvement projects.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent.
Two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Job Description:

Education and Experience:

High School diploma required, Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred.
2 years’ experience in a supervisory role required.
2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
