Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or BS/BA degree in a related area is required.
  • At least three years of work experience implementing and recommending administrative policies is required.
  • At least six years of experience in the field or a related area is required.
  • Consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five years is required.
  • Candidates must be able to use a computer to communicate via email.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and related tools and technology is required.
  • Work products must be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and compliant with established criteria.
  • Candidates must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Adobe products.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Candidates must be eligible for a Facility Access Authorization, also referred to as an Employment Authorization, from the U.S. Government's designated Security Office.
  • Candidates must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Candidates must have strong presentation skills and communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Candidates must have a strong understanding of federal government business operations and work processes.
Responsibilities
  • Support requirements for program support.
  • Assist in developing and implementing administrative policies and procedures for assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Review, analyze, and interpret administrative directives and policies issued by the organization.
  • Recommend the establishment of and prepare administrative policies and procedures for implementation throughout the organization.
  • Provide advice and assistance to management on manpower, personnel management matters, travel, training, performance appraisals, awards, surveys, and special studies.
  • Monitor and maintain efficient and effective training programs using knowledge of the organization's resource management system, program objectives, applicable regulations, guidelines, directives, principles, and practices.
  • Support project teams and program managers and provide daily execution of assigned work functions.
  • Provide management support to collect, evaluate, and test financial data for recurring departmental processes and reviews.
  • Summarize issues and findings in a clear and logical manner.
  • Conduct periodic reconciliation reviews of external interfaces with field offices to identify and correct data gaps, financial discrepancies, and errors.
  • Work with various information technology systems to provide multifunctional enterprise services staff support.
  • Provide acquisition support for bureaus across information technology, financial management, human resources, program management, economic analysis, executive support, and administrative support functions.
  • Perform duties in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones and delivery schedules.
Desired Qualifications
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Microsoft Access, Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio.
  • Ability to quickly learn other business tools and technologies.
