About the job

Requirements
  • 1 to 3 years of experience running events, field marketing, community, or partnerships; student clubs, conference volunteering, and side-project meetups count when supported by measurable results.
  • Personal experience asking a company for sponsorship money and securing sponsorship.
  • Experience running an event with a real budget and vendors, including quotes, negotiation, contracts, and invoices.
  • Clear written English for sponsor pitches, event pages, and social copy.
  • Living in San Francisco and working on-site.
  • Comfort with CRM hygiene, Luma or Partiful, reconciling spreadsheets, and executing follow-ups.
  • Working Mandarin.
  • Experience with paid media, performance marketing, or adtech.
  • Content production skills including shooting on a phone, editing clips, running a podcast series, or growing a brand account.
  • Experience growing a community from zero.
  • Three to five years of growth or performance marketing experience at a SaaS or consumer technology company.
  • Ability to work across paid, lifecycle, and affiliate operations.
  • Experience running paid campaigns focused on converting free users to paid users.
  • Campaign setup and operations skills, with the ability to work with leadership on lifecycle strategy.
  • Exposure to affiliate or referral marketing platforms such as Rewardful.
  • Ability to pull insights from GA4, Amplitude, or similar tools.
Responsibilities
  • Take over production on two to three live events, including venue, vendors, run of show, check-in, and teardown.
  • Own the invite funnel across Luma, Partiful, LinkedIn, and community groups; hit registration and show-rate targets and report results against the plan.
  • Build the attendee capture process so every attendee is added to the CRM with an actionable note for the business development team.
  • Own sponsor packages end to end by building the pitch, sourcing the target list, running outreach, negotiating the tier, collecting signing details, and tracking invoices through payment.
  • Source and manage co-host relationships for hackathons, workshops, and mixers with AI companies.
  • Generate enough sponsorship revenue to make event costs net neutral or better.
  • Publish the event playbook, including the theme calendar, target guest profile for each theme, sponsor tiers and pricing, vendor list with quotes, and post-event follow-up sequence.
  • Create content around events, including founder interviews, clips, recaps, and social posts.
  • Provide the business development team with a clean, attributed list of meetings sourced through events.
  • Execute paid, lifecycle, and affiliate operations as needed to keep campaigns moving.
  • Set up campaigns and work with leadership on lifecycle strategy.
  • Use performance data to evaluate and improve campaign execution.
Desired Qualifications
  • An existing network in the San Francisco artificial intelligence scene, including founders, venture capital platform teams, accelerator communities, or event organizers.
  • Experience with paid media, performance marketing, or adtech.
  • Content production experience, including shooting on a phone, editing clips, running a podcast series, or growing a brand account.
  • Experience growing a community from zero.
  • Exposure to affiliate or referral marketing platforms such as Rewardful or similar tools.
  • Experience using GA4, Amplitude, or similar analytics tools.

About the company

Hellyeah AI helps marketing teams grow faster by using autonomous digital workers, which are AI agents that can perform marketing tasks without constant human direction. The core idea is an AI-native growth engine: teams set goals and the autonomous workers handle campaigns, experiments, content generation, optimization, and data analysis to push growth. The product works by integrating AI agents into marketing workflows to automate repetitive tasks, test ideas, and adjust strategies based on performance data. Differences from competitors come from being built around autonomy and a marketing-centric AI team of agents, rather than just AI tools or generic automation. The goal is to empower marketing teams to scale their efforts efficiently, achieve faster outcomes, and spend less time on manual, repetitive work.
