Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of maintaining order and cleanliness in general environments.

Responsibilities

  • Wash and clean dishes, pans, and kitchen utensils by hand and/or with a machine.
  • Perform general cleaning of kitchen premises and facilities, including equipment, dining areas, pantry, the entire food-and-beverage area, and food circulation areas.
  • Apply the food safety practices appropriate to the area.
  • Clean, sort, organize, and store kitchen materials and utensils.
  • Support kitchen staff with basic tasks, including preparing juices, cutting fruit, and preparing basic items for the employee dining area.
  • Set up and dismantle dining areas by placing or removing plates, cutlery, and napkins, and carrying and placing food trays in appropriate areas.
  • Follow supervisors’ guidelines for selective waste collection and water and energy consumption to meet environmental objectives.
  • Contribute to area goals by efficiently completing assigned tasks in alignment with established strategic and operational guidelines.
  • Attend and complete mandatory and development training to maintain and strengthen the competencies required for the role.
  • Support other departments when needed to maintain operational continuity.
  • Perform other related duties requested by the department or hotel.
  • When working at Combo hotels, fulfill the responsibilities of the position for the hotels involved.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of cleaning products and their use is desirable.
  • Experience is desirable.
