  • The careers page describes frontline cleaners moving into senior leadership through tailored training, mentorship and field or corporate roles.
  • An April 2026 partnership brought 32BJ English classes onsite and scheduled sessions for day and night shifts.

What critics are saying

  • A June 2026 guide ties occupancy shifts to cleaning-scope and labor budgets, exposing service hours to tenant use.
  • The careers page says some benefits depend on work status and location, leaving eligibility uneven across frontline roles.
  • HPS job descriptions are available in Spanish, but onboarding documents are English-only, a language-access constraint for new hires.

What makes Harvard Companies unique

  • HSG's WBENC certification lets buyers credit up to 100% of contract value toward diversity goals, creating a supplier-qualification advantage.
  • The Inverted Pyramid prioritizes frontline staff, while ABM describes a broad facilities, engineering and infrastructure platform.
