Responsibilities
  • Deliver client interactions emphasizing accuracy, speed, problem resolution, risk mitigation, and personalized engagement.
  • Handle client transactions including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, credit card advances, money orders, negotiable items, and loan payments.
  • Respond to client service requests, including account maintenance and service-charge inquiries, using product and procedural knowledge to resolve issues.
  • Build, maintain, and grow client relationships through personalized in-person interactions and outbound phone calls.
  • Educate clients on mobile, online, and ATM banking solutions to promote convenience and self-service adoption.
  • Refer clients to internal business partners when financial needs are identified.
  • Support financial-center operations, including opening and closing procedures, vault management, night depository operations, cash-drawer setup, workstation preparation, and balancing.
  • Help manage operational loss through fraud detection, hold placement, obtaining supervisory overrides when needed, and maintaining balancing standards.
  • Maintain risk-management, compliance, security, operational, and financial-soundness standards.
  • Maintain professionalism in appearance, demeanor, and workstation organization.
  • Manage the lobby by greeting, engaging, and directing client traffic.
  • Perform research, special projects, and other duties assigned by management.

Hefler said the bank plans to continue using the Harahan location to serve customers and build relationships across the region. Hancock Whitney gets regulatory approval to acquire One Florida Bank

Hancock Whitney Corporation has received regulatory approval to acquire OFB Bancshares, parent company of One Florida Bank. The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the Mississippi Department of Banking and Consumer Finance have granted approval or confirmed non-objection to the deal. OFB Bancshares shareholders approved the merger agreement at a special meeting. The acquisition, initially announced on 15 May 2026, is expected to close on or about 1 August 2026, pending customary closing conditions. One Florida Bank operates six banking offices across Florida, offering commercial, residential mortgage, and instalment loans alongside deposit accounts.
