- Completed three-year vocational training as a mechatronics technician for refrigeration technology or an equivalent qualification.
- ChemKlimaschutzV Category I certificate of competence (the German 'Großer Kälteschein').
- Working knowledge of welding and soldering.
- Initial professional experience in a comparable environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Prepare, monitor, and calibrate measurement systems, including sensors, climate chambers, and door-opening systems.
- Set up and support measurement-data acquisition using software and data loggers, and conduct component measurements such as fan tests in a wind tunnel.
- Prepare and implement propane leak tests in cooperation with test engineers.
- Organize and coordinate test-stand construction, and perform as-built surveys and analyses.
- Maintain logbooks and organize and perform maintenance on compressors and chillers.
- Properly solder and weld components and models.
- Support safety measures and catalog and maintain inventory.
