Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Business Management or a related field is required.
  • At least 6 years of accounting or financial management experience is required, including at least 4 years performing one or more of the following: Federal Financial Reporting, General Ledger Analysis, Audit Remediation, financial process improvement through automation, documenting and testing internal controls over financial reporting in accordance with OMB Circular A-123, or determining the value of capital assets.
  • An active Top Secret, Top Secret-SCI clearance, or eligibility for a Top Secret-SCI clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Candidates must be located in the National Capital Region, including Washington, D.C., Virginia, or Maryland.
  • Familiarity with OMB Circular A-123 is required.
  • Knowledge of FASAB Accounting Standards related to Property, Plant, and Equipment is required.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise staff.
  • Plan projects.
  • Engage with clients.
  • Provide audit-remediation support across the property lifecycle.
  • Obtain assistance from subject matter experts as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • DoD or Intelligence Community financial management experience.
  • Federal or commercial financial statement audit experience.
  • One or more of the following certifications: Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Government Financial Manager, or Certified Defense Financial Manager.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
