Requirements
  • The candidate must be a current Ivy Tech Anderson student with a completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid on file.
  • The candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • The candidate must maintain an aid-eligible Satisfactory Academic Progress status.
  • The candidate must maintain a minimum of one credit hour of enrollment in eligible courses or be enrolled in a minimum of one credit hour in the upcoming term.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the development and design team to build and enhance website functionality.
  • Assist in designing responsive and user-friendly web pages.
  • Implement front-end and back-end development solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks.
  • Update and maintain website content, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve website functionality and user experience.
  • Support search engine optimization efforts to improve search rankings.
  • Research industry trends and recommend innovative design and development solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Design and develop user interface and user experience elements that enhance the user experience.
  • Work with content management system platforms such as WordPress and Drupal to update website content.
  • Debug and troubleshoot website issues, ensuring seamless performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align website updates with business goals.
  • Assist in integrating third-party tools, plugins, and application programming interfaces.
  • Document development processes and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
Desired Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
  • Familiarity with user interface and user experience principles and website design best practices.
  • Experience with content management system platforms such as WordPress is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and eagerness to learn.
