- Complete the Cooper IDX training program covering registration, scheduling, E-Commerce, and FSC.
- Maintain annual eligibility certification.
- Provide on-site training.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service, strong interpersonal and communication skills, written communication skills, computer literacy, typing skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Have knowledge of patient rights, aseptic and sterile technique, and infection-control best practices.
- Have reliable transportation and be available to travel to various clinical locations as determined by management.
- Have a minimum of 1–2 years of experience in clinical operations within a fast-paced physician practice or clinical site, including rooming and triaging patients.
- Have experience scheduling, registering, and working with an electronic health record, including front-desk knowledge.
- Have at least 1 year of experience working with IDX and Epic.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be a graduate of a Medical Assistant Clinical Training program.
- Provide current documentation of national certification as an RMA, NCMA, CMA, or CMAC.
- Hold current Basic Life Support certification.
- Function as a supervisor to clinical staff under the direction of the manager of clinic operations.
- Prepare evaluations, provide input on performance, and administer evaluations.
- Bring disciplinary matters to the manager.
- Provide medical assistant support to providers when staffing needs require it.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and care in accordance with the Patient’s Bill of Rights.
- Serve as a mentor and role model and display Cooper’s Core Values.
