Archipelago builds a data network for insurance brokers and their property customers. It provides data enrichment and validated risk data through a subscription-based platform, replacing traditional spreadsheets. The product lets insurers see and verify data easily, improving risk management and accelerating underwriting. By focusing on accurate, transparent data, Archipelago differentiates itself from competitors that rely on less reliable information and manual processes, and aims to make property risk management more efficient and trustworthy. The company's goal is to transform the property risk market by delivering high-quality data that leads to faster, fairer insurance decisions and better outcomes for brokers, property owners, and underwriters.

What believers are saying

  • The website updated June 2026 says Archipelago serves accurate-data workflows across property risk.
  • The 2025 customer roster signals durable expansion beyond early adopters into broader broker usage.
  • Xceedance and Arch Insurance relationships keep distribution visible and underwriting integration credible.

What critics are saying

  • Archipelago still depends on insurance workflows that reward incumbents and manual broker habits.
  • Its 2026 Xceedance rollout shows ongoing complexity, not a standalone category-defining moat.
  • If large brokers standardize rival data stacks, Archipelago becomes a feature, not infrastructure.

What makes Archipelago unique

  • Archipelago connects brokers, owners, insurers, and service providers on one data network.
  • Zerotouch launched January 2025, replacing spreadsheets with AI assistants for risk and underwriting.
  • Customers like Gallagher, EPIC, Alliant, and Extra Space validate enterprise market adoption.
